Second-year Collaborative Teaching and Learning

Antioch students now have the First-year Core as well as their first Co-op semester behind them. They return to campus and choose from courses that benefit from varying degrees of interactive design.

Some faculty jointly offer courses that are highly integrated similar to the First-year Core, whereas others teach courses that share learning events and activities collaborative in design but independent in nature.

Antioch's second-year system of networked teaching helps students broaden their learning even as they begin to add specific disciplinary depth. This exploratory year prepares students from the individualized classrom and Co-op learning to come
