Interesting Note
Hassan was born in a remote (at the time of his birth) village in central Iran where its entire population of about400, including his parents, were illiterate. He was the first to attend school, go to college and come to America with no family support, scholarship, or other types of financial aid. In both his native country and the U.S. Hassan worked different jobs and different shifts to pay for his college education as well as for his living expenses.
