Applying for Aid

All students who wish to be considered for federal and state financial aid programs, including Stafford and PLUS loans, will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Renewal FAFSA.  Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA  by the priority deadlines and to include Antioch’s Financial Aid code (003010).

Financial Aid Priority Deadlines:

First-Year Students: March 1st

Continuing Students: April 1st

Based on the information provided on the FAFSA, the federal government will make a determination of the amount that your family is expected to contribute towards your educational costs.  The difference between the cost of attending Antioch College and the expected family contribution is your eligibility for financial aid.

Financial aid is usually made up of both gift aid (grants and scholarships) and self-help aid (loans and work study).  If your need is to be fully met, you should expect a combination of both types of aid.

Students planning on receiving any type of institutional aid also are required to fill out an Antioch College Information Form regardless if they are filing for federal funds or not.  Make sure to use the Financial Aid Calendar to plan what you need to do to apply for and receive financial aid.

For more information on applying for aid see our Financial Aid Resources links.
