Antioch Ranks High in Alumni Support
Antioch College ranks second in alumni support per student in
the Chronicle of Higher Education's
2003-4 Almanac Issue. Antioch, whose students receive an average
of $18,275 of support from alumni, comes in above Princeton, Wellesley,
and Yale. Pomona College ranked highest with $25,963 per student.
A special thanks goes out to those whose generous contributions
make an Antioch education possible for our students!
Campaign for Antioch College Case Statement Receives Award
Making Change Happen: The Campaign for Antioch College case statement
received an award at the University/Colleges Designer's Association
(UCDA) 33rd Annual Design Competition. The case statement won in
the print category of development information/fund-raising; it was
judged on concept, design, illustration, typography and printing
as well as effectiveness, quality and creativity. The case statement,
which was displayed at the UCDA Annual Conference, was designed
by Generation/Jan Krukowski & Company.
Staff News
Jennifer Bennett, Bookstore
Manager, received her MFA in Creative Non-Fiction from Antioch University
Southern California at Los Angeles. She had an essay published in
www.scarlet letters. com. She also presented a paper on transsexual
memoir at the "Art of Gender in Everyday Life" conference
at Idaho State University.
Carole Braun, Communications Technician,
began graduate work at the Antioch University McGregor Conflict
Resolution program. She is delighted to find that Antiochian values
flourish in this sister institution and looks forward to being an
alumna in the future.
