What was it called when you were a student?


1. Earth Rose Selling clothing, gifts jewelry, Birkenstock footwear and more since 1971.


2. L to R: Pangea Trading Company Selling unique gifts (clothing & jewelry) from around the world since 1993 Dark Star Books & Comics Selling over 40,000 new and used books for over 20 years Current Cuisine Providing gourmet to-go foods, full-service catering, and pastries made from scratch since 1983.

3. Dino's Cappucino Providing Villagers with a place to eat, drink, and hang out for over five years.

4. The Antioch School Providing alternative education since 1921.

5. Deaton's Hardware Selling total hardware for over 80 years.

6. Yellow Springs News The hometown newspaper for over 100 years.

7. Tom’s Market The local grocery bought in 2001 by Tom Gray.

8. Dunphy Real Estate Realtor since 1957.

9. Dayton Street Gulch Beer with a sneer since 1988.

10. The Riding Centre An equestrian teaching facility since 1959.


11. Young’s Jersey Dairy In 1958, Young’s began selling whole Jersey milk to the public. It has since expanded to include ice cream, baked goods, a miniature golf course and a full-service restaurant.


12. No Common Scents An herb shop providing customers the finest herbs, spices and teas grown throughout the world for over 20 years.

13. The Winds Cafe & Bakery This local restaurant started out across the street as a collectively owned and operated café in 1977. It now draws customers from all over Ohio.

14. Community Children’s Center Offering childcare and education for children, preschool through third grade, since 1946.

15. Sam and Eddie’s Open Books Bookstore and Art Gallery since 1996.

16. Davis Street Home Once a local business, this building is currently under renovations and up for sale

17. Little Art Theatre An independent movie theatre, showing the finest films of this century for over 50 years.

18. Ohio Silver Co. A local jeweler since 1971.

19. Mr. Fub’s Party Selling toys and more since 1981.

20. Ye Olde Trail Tavern An historic tavern built in 1827 that is still serving weary travelers.
