Celebration to Honor Fogarty

There will be a retirement party for Robert S. Fogarty on
Monday, May 17, at 7 PM at a favorite Fogarty haunt, the National
Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York City.
Fogarty, Professor of History and Editor of the Antioch
Review, retired from teaching on January 1, 2004, after
35 years at the College. He is the author of many books, including
All Things New: American Communes
& Utopian Movements, 1860-1914 and Special
Love - Special Sex: An Oneida Community Diary. Last
year he received the PEN/Nora Magid Award for Magazine Editing
for his commitment to high literary standards.
