Celebration to Honor Fogarty

There will be a retirement party for Robert S. Fogarty on Monday, May 17, at 7 PM at a favorite Fogarty haunt, the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, New York City.

Fogarty, Professor of History and Editor of the Antioch Review, retired from teaching on January 1, 2004, after 35 years at the College. He is the author of many books, including All Things New: American Communes & Utopian Movements, 1860-1914 and Special Love - Special Sex: An Oneida Community Diary. Last year he received the PEN/Nora Magid Award for Magazine Editing for his commitment to high literary standards.
