April 12 -15, 2007

Eyes Wide Open was repeated at Mills Lawn School Front Lawn on October 12, 13, & 14, 2007.  Bruce Jacobs, the author of Race Manners for the 21st Century, was the keynote speaker at the display.   For more information, please visit http://www.afsc.org/eyes/.

Art Show: Chris Huestis and the late David Miller

In March and April 2007, an Art Show featured the work of Chris Huestis and the late David Miller. in the Coretta Scott King Center. 

Grand introduction of Antioch's Coretta Scott King Center

Events began with an open house in the Coretta Scott King Center, a community engagement workshop with Karen Patterson, and a luncheon with President Lawry at noon. The formal celebration concluded with an evening program featuring Dr. Vicki Crawford in historic Kelly Hall on the Antioch College Campus.  See flyer below for more information or contact Dana Patterson at (937) 769-1785.  All events are free and open to the public.

Annual Midwest Hip-Hop Convergence and Academic Conference 

The day included workshops morning and afternoon with academicians and speakers including Dr. Oliver Wang, Dr. Tricia Rose, Will Seagars and Herman Getachew.  The Keynote speaker was Dr. Ebony Utley, speaking on Hip-Hop and Spirituality.   The evening includees hip-hop artists Field Squad, Franz Diego, Illogic, L-Marr the Great, The Abosolute Truth, The Story Teller w/Cold Showda and Toki Wright.  DJs included J Rawls and Philly Phil.  Antioch College Community Government and the CSK Center co-sponsored the event.
