Prospective Students
Antioch College is open and we are seeking co-op positions for you with employers around the world!!
Antioch College is a pioneer in cooperative education and we’re glad that you ended up here to learn more about how experience counts. Co-op is a learning model in which students alternate between terms of study on-campus (sometimes elsewhere) and terms of full-time employment at job sites across the country and internationally. Thanks to President Arthur Ernest Morgan, every Antioch student in every major has benefited from multiple, required terms of work since 1921. We even all our co-op employers “field faculty” to acknowledge the important part they play in your education.
The term cooperative education means our students cooperate to keep a job in our co-op employers’ businesses or organizations filled year-round. Second year students are sequenced to work in the Fall term (Late August through mid December) and again in the Summer term (early May through mid August). Third year students co-op in the Spring term (early January through late April). Because we want you to be successful, you should plan to arrive one week early in your first Co-op Community early for orientation.
Here's a visual of your four years at Antioch.
