Commencement 2006
Video Excerpt of Rev. Warnock Commencement Address
Length: approx. 11 min., Quicktime Streaming Format
Antioch College's 2006 Commencement Address was delivered by The Rev. Raphael G. Warnock, pastor of Atlanta's Ebenezer Baptist Church, the church of Coretta Scott King, a member of Antioch's Class of 1951.
In his address, Rev. Warnock likened America to a Freedom Caravan, continually struggling against bigotry, hatred and injustice. He exhorted the Class of '06 to "join the Freedom Caravan. There is yet something that the world needs to hear that only you can say, in a way that only you can say it. Find your voice... and keep the caravan moving."
